Warning signs of pregnancy

There are certain warning signs and symptoms in pregnancy which reported early can significantly reduce maternal and fetal deaths and complications.
Report to your healthcare provider immediately in case of these danger signs, some signs like bleeding and pain in pregnancy is significant in the trimester but few are more important in second and third trimesters and patients with high risk pregnancy such as high blood pressure or sugars in pregnancy.
First trimester:
Sever pain in early pregnancy can be sign of ectopic pregnancy or threatened abortion.
Bleeding is normal to occur at time of implantation or placenta formation but fresh red bleeding with clots can be serious .
Excessive vomiting cause severe dehydration.
Fever but better with paracetamol.
Second and third trimesters: during these time your doctor will call you more frequently as the chances of complications increase with each trimesters . Any of these signs can be harmful to you and your baby. If you experience any of these signs contact your doctor immediately.
Extreme swelling of the hands or face
Severe headache
Trouble breathing
Heavy vaginal bleeding
Sever unbearable pain
Baby’s movement slowing or stopping
Chest pain or fast heartbeat
Severe nausea and vomiting
Fever
Foul smelling vaginal discharge
Blurring of vision
Decreased urine output
Convulsions
Thoughts of harming yourself or your baby
timely intervention can safe both mother and the baby, so it’s advisable not to miss your scheduled doctor visit and take all the instructions given by your doctor seriously and sincerely.
